Project: City of Colton Active Transportation Plan

Client: City of Colton 

 Soliciting input from key stakeholders to craft a thorough transportation plan.

KPA assisted in planning and staffing walk audits so community members could experience the challenges of walking and biking on the City of Colton’s key pedestrian pathways and networks. KPA interacted with hundreds of community members at Taste of Colton festival, providing information about the Active Transportation Plan, and collecting input about desired improvements through staffing interactive displays, collecting comment cards and administering surveys. In addition, KPA conducted outreach to large employers and secured their cooperation to administer surveys to their employees. All of this feedback informed the summary of input KPA produced to help guide the project team and staff decisions for the plan.
