Project: LA County General Hospital Feasibility Study (2018 – 2020)

Complex study to honor a historic building and reflect stakeholder input gathered through a robust community engagement effort.

The Feasibility Study examines the reuse of over 1 million square feet of the historic General Hospital and its adjoining 11-acre West Campus with the goal to produce three community-supported options for the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors’ consideration.

Deliverables:

• Strategic consulting

• Community engagement plan

• Planned, facilitated and documented Community Engagement Steering Committee meetings

• Planned, co-facilitated, staffed and documented in-person and virtual community meetings

• Translated all materials to Spanish and coordinated translation in Cantonese

• Press releases and social media messages

• Graphic design: FAQs, branding for meeting flyers, displays

• Coordinated and participated in outdoor events with bilingual staff
