Project: Rialto Active Transportation Plan

Client: City Rialto 

Engaging a community to increase safety for pedestrians and cyclists.

KPA developed a community involvement strategy targeting the wide range of community members within the City of Rialto. The outreach focused on contacting local community organizations, including the Rialto School District, to notify the community of meetings, disseminate bilingual pop-up event flyers, survey links, and project information via phone calls and emails. KPA staffed five community pop-up events throughout the year to conduct in-person surveys and obtained more than 100 comments and surveys per event, providing essential feedback on the preliminary transportation plan.
